Picture, picture

Wouldn't you know it. The day that I was going to spend taking pictures of all my knitting... can't find the camera.

I finished crocheting a caplet in one day and now I've started working on a cute knitting bag from the new Debbie Bliss knitting magazine, which by the way, I love (the bag and the magazine)!

I picked up the premier issue at Barnes 'N Noble the other day. There are so many cute patterns that I would love to make in just this issue. When they say '36 fabulous designs' they really mean it. I started with the knitting bag and I will probably make the mug cozies next. I would love to make the Lacy Scarf for my mother; the lace pattern looks simple and fun, plus it has a pretty sophisticated look. I think the Cable Vent Jacket would look pretty cute on me and I would definately consider it for a first sweater project. So many projects, so little time.... [definite 5 star rating!]

Yarncon is also coming up in two weeks. I am so ramped up for this event! Hopefully, I'll have a good post for that in two weeks. Until then... Happy Knitting!

Updates

I decided to start gathering up all the spare bits and hanks of yarn around my house. Mind you, I do not have a very big house, but somehow yarn has managed to weasel its way into just about every nook and crany. To my amazement, I found almost another quarter box full of yarn, plus two scarves that were so close to being finished that they only needed their ends tucked. I am currently working on that as I type.

Today on my list of things to do: finish tucking in ends of one scarf, complete the last load of laundry, clean the bathroom, wash the dishes, find the camera and take pictures of my finished knitted items, upload those pictures to flicker and share them on Ravelry. I would also like to get a start on a scarf design I came up with last night, while I was having trouble falling asleep.

I think I'll call the scarf Tohru's Scarf Recipe and write it on an index card. It's a version of the one Tohru Honda wore in the manga 'Fruits Basket' and simple enough to fit the directions on one card.

Aside from also wanting to type up a cute yarny dream I had the other night, that is pretty much all that is on the table for me at the moment. Happy yarn hugs!
