Charmed Knits

I am breaking the household cardinal rule: eating a chocolate cereal for breakfast. It's three p.m., but that still counts as breakfast if you haven't eaten yet that day, doesn't it? I was up at eleven this morning, but sat and worked on my unicorn wand cozy. It was a super simple pattern from the Charmed Knits book. It only took me a few hours to whip up!

A few days ago I finished up the house hip scarf (from the same book). I worked on it during the course of a day of watching movies. I worked the narrow scarf in red and gold (Lions for the cup!) and in the PoA style, since let's face it, I love red. It was also a pretty simple pattern, but it did take me two movies to tuck in all the ends! I was glad I finished it before the premier of Order of the Phoenix. Instead of wearing it on my waist, I tied it like a tie and threw it over my head. Aside from being a bit warm around my neck, as it was already warm in the house, it looked quite good. And the best part? Mr. Weasley was wearing an all red knitted tie during a scene in the movie! How awsome is that?
