Black Cat Magic

Other than starting a few new projects (bad idea) over the weekend, I have not done much in lieu of knitting. I finished those armwarmers up already, but I have not been investing good time into finishing up the wrock scarf I started a few weeks back. I think that trying to form letters in a shadow weave pattern is getting me a little down. I might need to try something different, but the scarf would just look so awsome with that secret message written on it. We'll see how that goes.

So, where has all my time gone this past weekend? The boy and I went out and bought a new kitten! A friend I work with co-owns a pet store and tipped me off that he had some really cute black kittens and a litter of grey kittens in the shop. We took a (long) drive out there and ended up taking one home with us. She is all black with a spunky personality. I settled on the name Luna and it was accepted (by the boy). I was actually quite surprised, too. I'm thinking Luna Lovegood, he's thinking Roman goddess. It works out in the end. ;D
